Version: Hide My IP 1.0.2
"sucks, doesn't work, stay away!!"
Pros: all I want to do is to send email from a web based email account without revealing my true IP address. having a small application to do this would be convenient. supposedly this is a simple thing to do, why can't they do it right?
Cons: but this application sucks!! the 3 day trial period was a mediocre experience, and I thought that paying $25 would give me access to more servers, US based IPs, and faster speed. I was soooo wrong, after paying its just more of the same bad slow stuff.
good luck trying to find a US based IP, I have never gotten one. the IP almost always is one in South Korea, which is so annoying. and then there are so many days when I can't even find a server. what am I paying for?! what do they do with my money?
this is my first review that I'm posting, but I just couldn't keep quiet. even the CNET Editors gave a good review, but DO NOT BUY, STAY AWAY!

Version: Hide My IP 1.0.2
"WOW! Hiding IP Never So Easy"
Pros: I spent hours searching for a tool to do exactly what the program does... No complicated setings, or proxy lists to update. You just click a button and your IP is changed! I'm ordering now so Firefox IP will be changed as well. I highly recommend this product!
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was occasionally when you get a new IP you see a weirdo website... It goes away for good if you click the link or wait a few seconds, and it only happens once when you get a new IP. It would be nice if the program automatically got rid of this step. Still, Id highly recommend it over all the other tools I tried.

Version: Hide My IP 1.0.2
"5/5 ANONYMOUS SOFTWARE, EASY TO USE"
Pros: Never have I seen a tools like this before, it gives ONLY WORKABLE PRTOXIES to IE, and even shows which country they are from. It has a REALLY NICE INTERFACE as well. I registered the full version and reccomend this tool for anyone who wants anonymity.
Cons: The 3 day trial is not enough time for me to fully test it. Also, some proxies do not work with SSL.

"IF you think this version sucks try HIDEMYIP 2009"
Pros: The only thing I like about the program is the one month trial period when it did work.
Cons: it worked pretty good for 1 month then went to the crapper. After complaints they pushed me to Level 2, Brent said the servers are being identified and the ip's blacklisted. There is no fix. The only alternative is buy premium service.
Summary: It is a scam and they are not reinvesting the income to get more IP's.
The trial does in no way represent the basic program only the Premium service program that costs over 100 dollars for the first year. They let your service work for the fir... read more >> - See all 6 user reviews Write review
