Pros: NONE
Cons: I'm using windows xp hide ip worked good until I installed service pack 2 and to think I gave this junk a good review before. Should work no matter what service pack you have or version of windows.

Version: Hide IP Platinum 2.1
Pros: Changes your ip as soon as you log on to the internet and it will change it to many different things, right now it is saying that my ip is a from China. Use very little ram and I have not noticed any degrades in my performance at all. BTW I am also using SP2 on WinXP Pro.
Cons: download.com needs to update the version number and file. They are up to 2.31 not 2.10 :)

Version: Hide IP Platinum 2.1
"This is the ip-hider that I was looking for"
Pros: Ok; do not look to the other guy's review.
He says the program has got difficulties when installed on WINXP SP2. I have got Winxp SP2 fully updated and do not have ANY difficulties installing/using this program. So, do not worry about that.
Well, of course there are many other ip-hide programs. Before I used this one, I used Stegaonos Internet Anonym. It was decent too; but slowed down my system like hell. (I run on AMD 3200+, 1024mb DDR XMS (hyper-ram), Winxp sp2). Even though I have got a fast system, using SIA it became slow.
So I went looking for a program that couls hide my ip AND wouldn't eat any RAM/ wouldn't slow down my system.
I downloaded this program. At first sight it seemed crappy to me; the layout was basic and it kept asking me to buy the full version. I buyed the full version and now I can switch my ip to whatever country I want; Malaysia, China, Japan, Romania, USA, Brasil and so on! Amazing! And the best thing is: it doesn't slow down my internet at all!
So this program does what it should do:
-Hide your ip and proxy (I have tested it with several 'what is my ip'-websites aand it works...)
-Easy-to-use interface (real easy)
-Fast
Cons: The only things:
-Quite crappy when you don't have full version; keeps asking to buy. ( I recommend buying it; you won't be dissapointed)
-Very basic, win95-like interface. (But that makes it easy and fast, so...)
