It also supports multimedia streaming and and RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) with optional resume, enabling you to download movies, music and capture/record live broadcasts. HiDownload also offers a tool to analyze MMS/RTSP URLs, as well as a built-in Broadcast Manager. In addition, it provides all the standard features of a download manager, including scheduling, drop basket, download history, clipboard monitoring, download categories as well as ZIP preview.

"Streaming Windows Media has met its match"
Pros: Its a great download manager which downloads streaming media better than every other download manager.
It downloads the following protocols to my knowledge: mms://, .asx, .asf, streaming WMV. That is all I have fed it as far as streaming content goes.
It also downloads normal content that isnt streaming.
Cons: It isnt free. $40.
It is a little unresponsive in opening the options at times.
Stopping and removing download processes is a pain in the neck sometimes. First stop then delete...argh.
The download graph the drop-target window isn't very accurate in showing the proper speed. I really dont know what numbers it reports.
The interface is somewhat junky if you ask of my opinion.

If you have streaming content I suggest you use this program. Its much better than the other product which sells itself in the same manner, CoCsoft StreamDown.

Pros: It is Nothing.
Cons: I believe that this **** software should be one of the top 10 worst softwares in the world.
The pictures I have downloaded can't be read, it said that the pics is of wrong formatted. Go to hell! The picture is of course OK for viewing. I use the browser to download the same picture, it is fine.
How dare it still costs 40 US dollars.
It's main feature is that it bears a bigger file size and higher price, but lower and even lower performance, so.... neither buy it nor try it!
Just a waste of time!

"Terrific for saving streaming media!"
Pros: If you're looking for a way to save those RealMedia or Windows MediaPlayer streams (audio or video), look no further. This product does the job superbly!
Cons: As a multi-function download manager (for saving web pages, graphics or what have you), it's not terribly user friendly. Rather than being a Swiss army knife, it's really more specialized: It makes saving streaming media a breeze.

"This is a very good product!"
Pros: It can record RealMedia and windows Media streaming with multi-threads, marvelous download speed. I also love the URL Helper, it is a excellent tool, if you want to capture streaming media, you MUST try it.

Pros: It is much better than other products I've tried. I can record the MTV.com music video with it. VERY GOOD! thanks.
