Version: Hex Workshop 4.23
"The best hex editor available...but the price...gahhhh!"
Pros: If you try this program you will discover that Hex Workshop provides users with the best interface and the most features for doing hex editing.
The panes in the program are all resizable.
The actual text converted from the HEX is READABLE...its not all spaced out like in all other HEX programs.
Cons: $50??? Woo boy. There are so many cheaper options, besides free ones.

Version: Hex Workshop 4.23
"Professional hexadecimal editor"
Pros: This product is much faster than any other hex editor I have seen. The program has a highly customizable GUI and help you to work with any kind of data (suport for ASCII, DOS, EBCDIC, Macintosh, Window, Unicode or custom character set filters; 8 bit, 16 bit, 32 bit, or 64 bit signed/unsigned values, Big Endian, Little Endian, or either). Many atomic data types are also supported (char, byte, ubyte, word, uword, long, ulong, longlong, float, double, OLE Date/Time, DOSTIME, DOSDATE, FILETIME, and time_t). This is the best choice for a C or C++ programmer.
Cons: Price...

"The best software you can get at about any price."
Pros: Read Flash Drives and load into virtual drive files. Create test data files with hex editor. Hex display and search is terrific. A huge timesaver.
