In spite of its extensive user-support documents, HelpScribble's confusing, hard-to-use interface and work flow could easily scare a beginner away. On the plus side, the program offers a wealth of capabilities for creating any type of help file, including flat RTF manuals, Web-based documents, and full-fledged manuals, both in the WinHelp and HTML Help standards. We also appreciate that HelpScribble gives you tools that greatly facilitate creating a table of contents and index for your manual. However, the evaluation version adds a watermark to files, won't export source documents, and only lets you save your creation in HTML. These limitations reduce its appeal to more experienced users who could at least tough their way through the program's nonintuive interface.Publisher's description
From Just Great Software :HelpScribble is a tool for creating help files for Windows 3.x and Windows 95. It has an easy-to-use interface with built-in editors for Windows 95–style contents files, SHG files (hotspot bitmaps), browse sequences, WinHelp macros, and so on. While HelpScribble is suited to the creation of any kind of help file, it has some extra options for Delphi programmers. HelpScribble reads the source code of your VCL component to create an outline help file and performs syntax highlighting on your sample code. Documenting Delphi applications is made easy by the HelpContext property editor, which integrates into the Delphi IDE.
