This intensive program helps to maintain and organize detailed medical records, but the lack of a help guide may leave users feeling a bit stranded.
Handy Patients Desktop Edition features a colorful but busy interface with an overwhelming number of options and no guide for getting started. The program lets you input such information as the patient's room assignment, health condition, diagnosis, and test results. It includes illustrations and charts, and a number of ways to view specific data.
We like its ability to generate and print reports, but the lack of a search function is a definite drawback. Tool tips and text labels to describe unfamiliar icons also would have been helpful. It may take some time and patience, but Handy Patients Desktop Edition turns out to be a decent choice for managing medical records.
