Version: Hackman Hex Editor Lite 8.02
"Unintuitive, refused to do simple tasks"
Pros: Many, many options. IMHO too many unless you really want that high level of functionality.
Cons: Opened a .exe file (under Win XP) and only half of it displayed. Also, it didn't display the hex correctly, and searching always gave no results, despite the fact that I know the search was right. Not impressed. Uninstalled soon after installing.

Version: Hackman Hex Editor Lite 8.02
"Can't handle large files properly"
Pros: -Good user interface..
-Many useful operations like insertion and deletion of data in file
Cons: When i open a 3000kb file and modify 100 byte and save it.. The saved file get shortened to 200kb.... This cost me lot of time to figure out... Don't download this buggy software.....

Version: Hackman Hex Editor Lite 8.02
"Use carefully. It deleted one of the files I was looking at."
Cons: Major Bug, Don't open two files with the same filename. The second one may be deleted when you exit. Also as you switch views between the two files, the title bar changes but the hex code from the second file is always displayed.

Version: Hackman Hex Editor Lite 8.02
"Handy for searching, crashes on replace"
Pros: It is helpful for searching for strings of text. It can search using ASCII, hex, etc. It can easily save parts of a file without pasting to a new file.
Cons: The replace function crashes after hour(s) with a String error on a 100k file. The replace seems slow on this 100k file as well.
