Version: HJ-Split 2.3
Pros: Joins files quickly and efficiently.
Unlike the previous version 2.2, this version allows you to join files from one folder and store the joined file in another folder. Occasionally I have found this to be useful.Cons: Unlike the previous version 2.2, this version DOES NOT popup on top of the windows on the screen when it completes a task. Now I can only tell when a task has completed by manually checking. I find this annoying and prefer to use the older version.
Summary: Besides joining and splitting files Hjsplit also allows you to compare 2 files and generate a checksum for a file. These are features I have used on occasion although rarely.
