Users can back up important files with this easy-to-use application, though it can't write backups directly to CD or DVD. GridinSoft Backup's wizard-like interface guides you with step-by-step procedures for setting up backup tasks. You use file masks to precisely choose which folders to back up, but the program won't allow you to back up individual files. GridinSoft Backup includes common features like file compression, password protection, and FTP capabilities, but it cannot write backups directly onto CD or DVDs. You can create backup tasks manually through easily constructed scripts. You can use Windows' simple Task Scheduler to automate backup scripts. While some users may find the 17-day trial somewhat short, any level user would find this application easy to operate and flexible enough for most backup needs.
