This Firefox extension is supposed to help you quickly download .flv or .avi files with a few clicks of the mouse. It all sounds great, but we were never able to get the program to work for us.
Google Video Downloader places a single icon on your status bar. When we visited our favorite video Web sites, clicking the shortcut icon continually came back with an error message. With no Help menu in sight, we were never able to remedy the situation.
While you could save money with this freebie, that's only a good deal if it works. Don't waste your time or efforts on this faulty freeware program.
