Make your Web travels more productive with Google Toolbar. In a nutshell, placing a Google search box directly into your browser makes it easier to find what you want because you can access Google features from any Web page. The toolbar offers a highly effective pop-up blocker, a nifty News button, a simple forms filler that automatically fills out Web forms with information stored locally, a translation utility, maps, and more customization options. You also can automatically create a Weblog (blog) post pointing to the Web page you're visiting. Of course, the BlogThis! feature only works if you have an account on Google-owned Blogger.com.
Note that using advanced features such as PageRank automatically sends the URLs of the site you are viewing back to Google's servers. The PageRank feature is optional, and you can enable or disable it at any time through the toolbar's Options button. But if you are concerned about privacy, Google gives you the option of downloading a version that does not report back. Anyone who regularly uses the Google search engine likely will find this toolbar an essential pickup.

"Best search engine, not best toolbar"
Pros: Blocks pop-ups (few years ago, free ones were hard to come by!)

Other nifty little features
Cons: Unlike the Yahoo toolbar, doesn't have Spyware scanner
Nothing new
Be good if it had an IE virus protector and/or Anti-spyware
The features are a bit old and uninspiring

"Everything you could ever need/want"
Pros: This is definitely everything that you could have ever need. Not as much as what you would want as there's always things that you could want in a toolbar.
Google Toolbar as many options to turn on and off different buttons and search items. Very useful especially if you don't feel like typing in google.com!
Cons: Nothing at all.

"Google power saves IE once again!"
Pros: Google is slowly taking over the internet. The toolbar they came out with is great! It blocks a lot of pop ups and has a search engine built into it.
Cons: There could be more features, but that's just a minor feature.

"It's Great! Alot better than the last one!"
Pros: Everthing! I like the page rank feature, the expanded search toolbar and the spell checker is a nice feature. The pop-up blocker works better than the old version!
Cons: All the features don't fit on the toolbar at once. You have to go to the right side of the toolbar to access them. That kind of sucks. But a person can live with that. Other than that, there isn't much wrong with it at all!
