Publisher's description
From Google :Gmail is Google's free Webmail service. You can keep all your important messages, files and pictures forever, use search to quickly and easily find anything you're looking for, and make sense of it all with a new way of viewing messages as part of conversations. There are no pop-ups or untargeted banner ads in Gmail, only small text ads. Ads and related information are relevant to your messages, so instead of being obtrusive, they may even be useful for once. Gmail also integrates instant messaging right into the email experience, so you can stay in even better touch with your friends when you're online. Easy, efficient and maybe even fun to use. It's a whole new way to think about email. It's Google's approach to e-mail.

Version: Gmail
Pros: Never ever imagined I could retrieve emails this fast. It opens my emails as if those email were stored on my mobile memory!!!
Lightweight application and very easy to use. Great use of shortcuts too!
Cons: I'd like to see OS-specific version for mobiles using symbian, windows mobile and linux. It would be a great thing to have gmail interacting with my mobile functions!

Version: Gmail
Pros: Allows great organization of email messages via labels. Includes features to open documents, spreadsheets and presentations via Google Docs and Spreadsheets or as an HTML file. Storage space continually increases every second. Quite fast, although a "basic" version is available for people with slow connections.
Cons: Privacy concerns for sponsored ads. Does not specify when your emails will be deleted from their backup servers.
Doesn't automatically use secure (https) server, default is http (non-secure).

Version: Gmail
Pros: Gmail is lightning fast, looks clean and professional, and allows you to store a ton of Emails, the starage space is well over 2 GB. Plus, Google is always adding new features, such as the new post-date feature which allows you to mark your Emails as if they were sent in the past, and they will actually appear that way to the reciever(s).

Version: Gmail
"Terrific because you can make up a fun or secret gmail email address and"
Pros: Terrific because you can make up a fun or secret alias gmail email address and then anyone sending you mail at your gmail address will be automatically forwarded to your ISP's email or your Outlook Express address or your hotmail address -- whatever is your regularly used address. Of course you must set up gmail to forward all its incomming mail but it's easy.
