Version: Global IM 2.0.5
Pros: At first I was really pleased with this program. It loads fast, has an easy user interface, and is able to run on most operating systems. A dream come true?
Cons: After using it awhile I had the need to transfer a file to a fellow I.M.'er. The usual message, waiting for receipient to accept transfer(paraphrased), came on screen. I waited and waited, but they never got the message. Thinking it was just this persons lack of understanding on how these things work, I ended up emailing it to them instead. Another opportunity arose with a different fellow I.M.'er. Same Problem. In short, it didn't work with anybody, period. I am a profesional Computer Tech. and tried every conceivable trouble shooting method I know.

Summary: I have tried Trillian, Odigo, Easy Messenger, and Meca. I had problems with them all. Meca even gave my computer a virus. I absolutely love Global IM it is the best all-in-one messengers.

Summary: I've been using Trillian because everyone raves about it on here. I'm not listening to reviewers anymore. Trillian's horrible. This is so much better.
