"Makes quite an improvement to the browser"
Version: Glims 1.0b30
Pros
Search suggestions
Cons
None so far
Summary
Great job! Now I use Safari as my default browser.
-
"Brightens up Safari"
Version: Glims 1.0b28
Pros
Safari on it's own is a pretty view, with Glims you get icons that mean instant recognition with reading titles in bookmarks and the address bar
Cons
none that I can think of
Summary
To be honest, without reminding myself by reading the blurb again, I don't know exactly what Glims does other than bring colour to Safari, but I do know that the first thing I do after setting up a new Mac is add Glims, because Safari is my preferred browser and it's boring as all get out to look at without Glims and other addons.

"very neat; but some functionality to be enhanced"
Version: Glims 1.0b25
Pros
change the cross sign of the tabs to the logo of the website; support Safari full screen
Cons
In the optional search engines, there is no 'Google Scholar' listed, which is important for people in science.

Glad it's back. Saved-tab functionality, which disappeared with the last Safari update, is restored. -
"Sweet addon"
Version: Glims 1.0b22
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Using it on Snow Leopard and Safari 4.03 and I find this addon extremely useful. Love the search suggestions. The default search suggestions in Safari are completely useless. Love all of the tab control stuff. The Full screen options (especially hiding the title bar) are brilliant and the ability to automatically open last tabs is sweet. Seems very stable on my setup. The one thing I'd like to see is in full screen view I love the ability to mouse over my dock. It would be nice to add that as a feature, or if someone can suggest a hack to do this I'd appreciate it. Good job. -

"Awesome Add-on!"
Version: Glims 1.0 beta 11

Give this a try - what Safari should have had from the beginning!
Make it even better - and now Safari is my default again.

"install has no effect"
Version: Glims 1.0 beta 6
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I've installed Glims twice and rebooted twice. It doesn't appear to work. The files are where the site's FAQ says they should be, but the preference pane does not appear.
