Version: Genie Backup Manager Professional 8
"One of the most improved of 2007!"
Pros: "Genie-Soft" has made a huge improvement over version 7. It's now fully compatible with "Vista" and the "Vista Disaster Recovery" module is an excellent tool. It has a great GUI and pretty much does everything it claims it will. Like I said, this release is like night and day compared to version 7, which was useless. It can now backup your whole system including your operating system, applications, files, folders, photos music, downloaded movies and emails. I like this application but doubt it's for everyone. This may be the most improved software application of 2007. I have used it and it works like a charm.
Cons: It 's kind of a big install at 175 MB on disk. It's expensive and not that easy to use. It does take some time in the help files to figure it out. If you are good with software and computer knowledge, if you are willing to take the time to learn how to use it and are willing to spend $70 then this is a good choice although it's not a disk cloning application.
