Version: GeSWall 2.1.4
Pros: isolates your browser and other applications from your computer so your computer can't get corrupted. very easy to use. seems effective as my browsers speed seems improved with no 'hangs'. i'm spoiled and i now free unsafe browsing on the internet without the protection of this program. thank you geswall! (have installed and uninstalled this program without a hitch.)
Cons: can't 'uncheck' the "don't ask me again" box once you check it. but it isn't much of a bother.. simply check 'yes' everytime you start an application. however, if you need to download software, you'll have to check 'no' so you don't enable geswall protection or you won't be able to download the software you want. this is simply evidence of the protection that geswall offers. no viruses, trojans, worms, malware of any kind, or even software gets on your computer unless you intend it. so that's it.. the only improvement that i'd like to see for a future version, is a way to 'uncheck' the "don't ask again" box.

Version: GeSWall 2.1.4
Cons: This firewall wouldn't let me get on the internet, or uninstall it. I had to take it in to a professional and he couldn't either! Everytime he'd reboot after uninstalling it would be back. He had to email the company that made it to find out how to get rid of it. Do yourself a favor and don't get this.

Version: GeSWall 2.1.4
Pros: Sounds like a good spiel from the manufacturer, and it would seem like it should be a perfect solution to the numerous problems that alternative popular firewalls create, because basically this isn't a firewall , it's a prison lock down!
And a very effective and simply way to get around the problem of viruses, hackers, etc.
That's why I rate it highly, even though I won't be using it.
If this is your cup of tea, then drink it.
Cons: However, I like to tinker under the bonnet, so this wouldn't provide a solution that I'm really after.
It's on the right track and if you want your system to stay exactly like you installed it, this would be a lot better than getting the usual firewall, because that is basically how it stops everything, it simply doesn't let anything change! However, in my opinion that is unworkable for me. I need change, I could eat Alvin Toffler books for breakfast. I need access to my own computer.
