GateKeeper allows users on a Local Area Network (LAN) that is not directly connected to the Internet toaccess the Internet via a single machine on the LAN. This computer canbe connected to the Internet via modem/ISDNdial-up connection or have a direct Internet connection viaa second Network Interface Card (NIC). GateKeeper saves you money by removing the need to get a separate dial-up account, with a phone line and modem, for each user who wants access to the Internet. WithGateKeeper all users can use one link simultaneously.
