From GMER :GMER is an application that detects and removes rootkits. It scans for: hidden processes, hidden threads, hidden modules, hidden services, hidden files, hidden Alternate Data Streams, hidden registry keys, drivers hooking SSDT, drivers hooking IDT, drivers hooking IRP calls and inline hooks. GMER also allows to monitor the following system functions: processes creating, drivers loading, libraries loading, file functions, registry entries, TCP/IP connections.

Cons: Wnated to communicate with this guy. Absolute no answer to my messages (emails). Not even the slightest indication that someone exists behind this stuff. Could be itself a scam... well hidden like a...root...

"I found no RootKits on my PC. My quality paid AV found none either."
Pros: It's free. It did get a high rating somewhere.
Cons: Numbering convention. How about KISS. Is 1.0.14.14205, a nine numeral version # really needed? How about 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc.
I found this version to be 67.71% effective with a plus or minus of 31.54% error variance. This is rounded off for convience and is of course approximate.
