From J. Hepple :Fx Audio tools includes an audio file converter that supports most common audio and video sound types, including variable bit rate MP2 and MP3 files. Other tools include a CD audio to WAV CD ripper, a WAV sound recorder, an audio file player, and a CD player.
Converter supported file types include WAV PCM; compressed WAV (GSM, ADPCM, DSP, ALAW, ULAW, ALF2 CD, and others); MP2, MP3 (including files with VBR (variable bit rate); VOX (Dialogic ADPCM); RAW (PCM, ALAW, ULAW); G.721, G.723, G.726; Mobile Voice; Ogg Vorbis; and WMA.
