Every now and then, we come across an iPad app that will appeal to the whole family. Fumble is just such a game. Its simple gameplay will appeal to very young kids, as well as their parents and grandparents.
The point of Fumble is to quickly tap and hold blocks that contain symbols that match the ones displayed at the top of the screen. A bomb tile moves around on the board replacing tiles, so you have to be careful not to touch it as you hold down the tiles. The tile symbols are bright, colorful, and eye-catching. From the game's main screen, you turn the background music and sound effects on and off via an Options menu. There are also Fun Facts and Tutorial features. The Store feature sells coins and charms that are used in the game. To get started, choose a theme, choose between Normal and Hard modes, and you're on your way. With the Tutorial on, we were able to find our way using the pop-up instructions. In Normal mode, we were surprised at how challenging it was to quickly spot and touch all the tiles at once.
For small kids and older adults, Fumble is a great way to practice visual and memory skills. We recommend it for all users.
From Violet Arts:
In Fumble, you must collect coins while you fumble and use them to unlock more theme packs. Each pack comes with 36 new tiles accompanied with a unique soundtrack, layout and fun facts. Play your new tiles in VS mode. Practice in 1 player mode and challenge your friends in a best of 5 VS mode. Win and watch your opponent's hair blow up into a frizzy mess.
