From PrestoSoft :FtpVC is a version control system which allows joined development using Internet FTP connections. It permits developers to get, check out, check in, undo check out, label files on a remote server, that are part of a software project. It also allows comparing files on the server to their local versions showing results in a two-pane window, view remote files, and examine history of their changes. FtpVC optionally stores old versions of files.
Version 2.3 can show local-only files, assign multiple labels to a single file version. File locking makes version control safe in multi-user environment.

Version: FtpVC 2.3
"The best FTP-Based version control program"
Pros: We are a team of three italian students at University of Udine - Italy. We are developing our software engineering class project with FtpVC. We are positively surprised by its ease of use and its power. Version control with this program is a bliss, and the customer support is simply great. Definitely a great version control tool.

"Great solution for version control!"
Pros: FtpVC is an easy to use program that effectively provides source control for individuals and workgroups. It has all the functionality I need for my small web development business. The support has also been responsive and helpful.
Cons: Can be slow, but of course the speed depends on your server and connection.
