Fring is your free mobile communication service that lets you make free calls, live chat & video calls, directly on your mobile phone, via your favorite Internet communities: Skype, Google Talk, MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, Twitter, Facebook, Last fm & SIP.
What's new in this version:
Version 4.1 features new GUI for Twitter (9.4 only).
Easy to set up, download software, accept Nokia's warning. As soon as you establish Internet connection, WIFI/LAN , 3G, or USB cord you can establish voice and Chat on Skype, Chat only on Google Talk. Icons display online users in phonebook.Good spund
Yahoo Chat was able to connect and the user was visible but messages sent from the Chat mode on the Desktop were not recieved in the Nokia N95
Finally a relatively simple way to use Skype on a WiFi smartphone
If you have a Voip account you can configure Fring to make SIP calls on your mobile, saving you a fortune. You can login via wi-fi (some free) or via your network. It's also an all-in-one client for messengers (MSN, Yahoo. AIM, Skype, ICQ, etc). You can even call your buddies for free and dend them files. Works well. Easy to set up. Simple interface. Great free software with free add-ons.
Cannot distinguish between MSN, Yahoo buddies etc as it just identifies them all as Fring contacts.

This is the best mobile software currently available. Don't take my word for it - try it!
Installed easily in a Nokia N73. Works well on Skype Voice and IM.
Changed ALL the personalised ringers for my contacts to the Nokia default. The text on the screen is VERY small (~6pt)...yet to see if it can be made larger. Not really a fault: The fring application is operating even when it appears to be shut down...it will accept Skype calls to the N73, even though the application has not been turned on.... ie Some indication of status would be nice.
