    "Amazing"

    July 7, 2008  |   By mb208

    Version: Fring (Symbian 9.2) 3.35

    Pros

If you have a Voip account you can configure Fring to make SIP calls on your mobile, saving you a fortune. You can login via wi-fi (some free) or via your network. It's also an all-in-one client for messengers (MSN, Yahoo. AIM, Skype, ICQ, etc). You can even call your buddies for free and dend them files. Works well. Easy to set up. Simple interface. Great free software with free add-ons.

    Cons

Cannot distinguish between MSN, Yahoo buddies etc as it just identifies them all as Fring contacts.

    Summary

    null

This is the best mobile software currently available. Don't take my word for it - try it!

    "Works well, but has issues"

    January 27, 2008  |   By auscalais

    Version: Fring (Symbian 9.2) 3.2

    Pros

Installed easily in a Nokia N73. Works well on Skype Voice and IM.

    Cons

Changed ALL the personalised ringers for my contacts to the Nokia default. The text on the screen is VERY small (~6pt)...yet to see if it can be made larger. Not really a fault: The fring application is operating even when it appears to be shut down...it will accept Skype calls to the N73, even though the application has not been turned on.... ie Some indication of status would be nice.
