Free Zune Video Converter is a free application which converts the most popular video files (AVI, MPEG, MP4, FLV, or MOV) to Microsoft Zune compatible video format (WMV, MP4). You can also extract audio tracks from video files to MP3, WMA and M4A (AAC) format. The application allows you to convert full movie or selected range only. You can limit output file size and set many parameters used by encoder: audio and video bitrate, fps, resolution, sampling frequency and other. The Free Zune Video Converter interface is very simple and user-friendly. To convert video files, just drag & drop them into main window, select proper profile from list, and click the Convert button. If the video quality is poor, increase video bitrate.

What's new in this version:

Version 1.1 supports more audio/video formats, volume control, XP visual styles, bugfixes.

"This does not have a virus or trojan it works fine"

"has a trojan"

Pros: didnt use it because of the trojan

Cons: I went to download it and immediately open opening it my virus software said it had a Trojan in it DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS PROGRAM

Version: Free Zune Video Converter 1.1

"Does what it's made to do, haven't seen many problems"

Pros: It's compatible with a lot of formats, and even works to preserve subtitles that are wired in.

interface could be a bit better, all that brown is a bit weird. I also like how it details progress very well

Cons: Some few formats it is not good with, especially DRM. Might have a hard time with some videos with weird subtitles, and in some videos the sound might be a bit off or such
