"Baffling and annoying."

I don't know - it's never completed a recording.
Cons
I tried to record a four minute stream of a song. It showed it was recording for the full time, but the final recording was only one minute fifteen. It has done this several times and I can't find anything in the help file or on line that's any help with this.
Summary
I installed it specifically for webstreaming. For free software, it's cost me lots of frustration and it's paid back every penny I spent on it.

The program does not work on my 6 month old standard windows 7 computer with AVGfree antivirus2011. I tried 2x install. Returns always with error code. Tech Support contact is not possible for this free program.

It is quite unclear why it does not work. I installed the program in custom mode: (no change on homepage and search engine preference). When I want to start the program, it returns immediately with an error: <exception EACMAuddioInError in module Freesoundrecorder.exe at 000857D2. Error openingaudio device for input. Bad device ID.> Nice explanation, but nowhere FAQ how to deal with it. No tech contact possible.
First ever problem that I have with installing a program... The extra toolbar consumes vertical screen space; could have been better integrated with others. Everybody tries to push you into a new toolbar with new homepage and new search engine...This is getting quite ennoying. -

Although I havnt gotten the latest version, assuming it works as good as the older one that I have......then this is good because then.......
1 - Does not change the sound quality (but u have th eoptoin to make it louder)

2 - You can make it louder. Some songs have ok sound quality and this thing can make the song quailty better.

It was a great tool to use, after doing a PPT, I from that this was a great way to present my project. Final resumes was a "A" on the project and a communication value that gave me added presentation. Thank so much!
Cons
Only problem I sent was wish it had the capability to speak recognition. That would make a dream come true.

MP3 were recorded by had no sound when I played them normally.
Summary
I'm almost hesitant to give such a poor rating, because I'm not that great with computers and this software seemed to get high marks from everyone. Maybe I'm just used to simple-simple, as I use something called freecorder4 that only requires that I hit the record button and the stop and that's it. In using this, without too much difficulty I was able to record three songs from youtube, creating three MP3 files, but there is no sound on them when they play back. When I wasn't successful at finding out what might be the solution. I uninstalled it after an hour or so of frustration.

Volume too high flickers. I tried decreasing speaker volume, won't work. I tried changing record mixer from line in to stereo, still won't work. Records all giberish. This is total crap.

Stay away, this is bad cheap software. Look for something different.

Summary
After upgrading to Win 7, none of my previous bought versions of LP Recorder etc. would work. This does exactly the same, but is free and less antiquated. I am using a USB plug Xitel INport.
