Version: Free Sound Recorder 6.4
"Recording: Quick & Easy to use - Edit & Saving changes is not free"
Pros: It does what is says it can do. It can record anything coming out of the computer's speakers and then saves the file. Great for a free program to record.
Cons: If you want to edit a file, including pulling out a specific piece of the recording and saving it, you have to buy the "Cool Record Edit Pro" software that is included. I suspected it was ALL free based on some reviews. No big deal, just not specific as to "what is free." I'm just now learning to play with sound files and free is a good way to learn.......
