"Good free tool with a good audio editor"
Pros: It does the the job it said it would! I am transferring special audio from cassette to my hard drive. Does the job and records from your Sound Card. Was easy to install and easy to use.
I tested the audio quality and it was flawless! No need to mess with the gain settings because the defaults are 100% accurate. Simple is better. Overall this software provides A+ recording quality and can be adjusted to suit your needs. Best of all it's FREE! The inside audio editor is soooo coool!

"Typical of this age, dishonest advertising."
Pros: Basic recording is ok - as are dozens of others.
Cons: "Free" offers and "free trials" aren't free if you can't use the whole thing.
It's dishonest to waste my time downloading, setting up, etc, and ONLY THEN telling me some components aren't accessible.
I would NEVER buy a product on that basis if it was solid gold and priced at 5 cents.
It's a matter of principle; in short supply these days.

"Doesn't record stereo mix for streaming capture with motherboard soundcards"
Cons: Installed it and found it would only record from line-in or microphone inputs no stream capturing or sound playback capturing. Must be cause I have a motherboard soundcard. Then found if you want to edit it you must use Cooledit Pro which is bundled in download with a limited trail period. Deleted it all !!!
