Internet Privacy Eraser comes equipped with a tree-menu style interface that lets you select specific areas for cleaning Windows and browser traces. If you prefer the hands off approach, you'll really like the automatic cleaning feature that lets you choose from among several different intervals, or the options to run at system start or shut down. We liked the extra security of the option to run a test before you commit to removing anything. In a matter of seconds, the program wiped traces from selected areas.
Some programs designed to scan for and remove Windows and browsing files and traces don't permit you to actually clean up what they find. With Internet Privacy Eraser, you're limited to a short 14-day trial period, but it is fully functional, and you can see this program's full potential. "Works good but has one flaw."
Version: Free Privacy Eraser 2.0
Pros
This program works with 4 browsers I E Netscape Opera and Firefox. It cleaned 12,540 files which is 81,574 KB and made my computer operate faster. This program is 100 % free it is not a 14 day trial like the CNET editor said.
Cons
The one flaw it has is it will not empty the recycle bin.
