Even though many of its tasks can be performed manually, Free Internet Eraser can automate the process for you. It allows you to erase your Internet history, cache, cookies, address-bar search history, and Window's temp folders, run history, search history, Open/Save history, and recent documents. In addition, it can automatically clean your files at start-up or shutdown. Free Internet Eraser implements the U.S. Department of Defense DoD 5220.22-M and NSA-clearing and -sanitizing standard to gives you confidence that, once deleted, your file data is gone forever and cannot be recovered.

Effective and easy, Free Internet Eraser gets rid of most of your tracks, though some features are unavailable in the trial version.
The program makes quick work of traces you've left in Windows and from the Internet: temporary files, your list of recently used documents, Open/Save history, Internet Explorer cache, and lists of visited sites and typed URLs. Plug-ins to clean up traces left by other applications (ICQ, MSN Messenger) are available in the paid version only. The program can perform automatic cleanup at regular intervals (on every start-up or shutdown, for example, or on a timer).
An average user is unlikely to need permanent deletion algorithms (scrambling filenames or overwriting with random numbers), but then again, only the paranoiacs survive. This free utility's advanced features disabled unless you pay for the upgrade. However, even hamstrung it offers capabilities sufficient for most active surfers.

Pros: I love using this program after using secret maker. wwwsecretmaker.com program makes this eraser runs a lot faster.
Good by itself but better with secretmaker.
Together they work perfectly on my XP sys.

Pros: As many of the software I review.
It is small and fast, (is important to me because I work with old computers and use many progs at the same time).
Anyway, use it every week...and you'll get back more than 50 megs...It is very customizable! You will not even notice it, it does not require many system resources.
Click on the Windows tab and Browser to check all what you need.
And as a plus Just click on erase and Shut down and your good to go!
It even has a Start up manager included!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: This is so great Program quick and easy.Even a dummy could use it.And after i downloaded it i had no more pop ups and i have had no more VIRUSES thank god for this internet eraser it's great.
Cons: Nothing at all this is a great program i love it!
