Version: Free Hide Folder 2.1 Build 20081212
"WATCH OUT! BUGGY! DON'T USE ON USB DRIVES!"
Pros: I'd used previous version just on my C: drive and it worked fine.
Cons: On an external USB hard drive after hiding it did not "see" the hidden folder anymore. I tried to restore the folder from a Free Hide Folder backup file and it thinks the hidden folder had been on C: when it was on F:. Now can't get to this folder.
Summary: DO NOT TRUST THIS PROGRAM!

"Hides folder ok but won't unhide them!!"
Pros: Nice simple interface, does what it says on the tin. Hides folders really well....too well.
Cons: Won't unhide your folders!!
Summary: Simply refuses to uhhide any folder that you have hidden. What's the point of that!! Now I can't access anything in the damn folder. Useless program.

Pros: This is the answer for those of us with limited computer skills. No tech stuff and jargon. Just very simple and easy to use. Impressive!!
Cons: Nothing, its the perfect solution.
Summary: I have just downloaded this software and expected to be pressing buttons and shifting files and moving folders from here to there. None of that. Its quick and simple to use. I like it.

"Does Not Work on Removable Media"
Pros: Works on folders on hard disk drive.
Cons: Fails to hide anything on a thumb drive.

Pros: Hides a folder nicely, none of the contents show up in searches, easy to un-hide folder for use and then re-hide, plus it's free
Cons: None - it's free, this is a no-brainer
