  Version: Free Browser 1.7.38

  "Here's a REAL review......"

  Pros: The user interface is clean and you can select from 8 search engines to use.

  Cons: FreeBrowser displays LARGE buttons. I could not find an option to change them to a smaller view. There is NO tabbed browsing with this FreeBrowser and as for the speed? Well, IE6, Opera, FireFox, Avant and a couple others are more quick. The options that come with browser are limited indeed. For example, Address Bar, History, Homepage, Layout, Misc, Password Lock, Privacy and Progress bar are the selections that you can alter/set. In their own categories you'll find extremely limited options. Just coming to DOWNLOAD.COM this browser informed me of a script error and asked if I wanted to continue. FreeBrowser also won't automatically fetch your IE favorites. This is an EXTREMELY simple browser that does one thing as advertised, it uses little resources. If you want a stable, fast IE shell, Avant, Maxthon Lite and Slim Browser will fill your need with more options. If you want a super tiny browser that goes for the speed record, I recommend MP9 Surfer or Dragonfly. MP9 Surfer seems more stable though.

  Version: Free Browser 1.7.38

  "Not bloated like IE"

  Pros: Free Browser 1.7.38 is so small, even smaller than Opera, and so fast opening web pages. It gets into ALL sites and is a very good bare boned fast browser. A real nice alternative to IE.

  Cons: Still is vulnerable like IE.
