Folder Security Personal allows you to hide and lock folders and files. You can choose to hide them completely or restrict access by making them read-only, preventing modification or deletion by other users or programs. The program also can lock local hard disks as well as floppy drives, CD-ROM drives, and removable disks and supports FAT, FAT32, and NTFS. Additional features include support for special folders (My Documents, Send To), the disabling or enabling of the Registry editor, default drive sharing, and a password-protected interface. This tool is foolproof, self-protected, and easy to use with fully supported drag and drop.

Version 3.0 can repair and prevent malicious changes to most options in Internet Explorer, such as the start page, the default URL, the window title, and the context menu.

"Quite gd"

Pros: one of the longest trial period in download.com

Cons: trial periods....hate'em
