Though primarily designed for recording, this program earns most of its points due to its extra features. Focus MP3 Recorder offers a basic set of sound recording and editing options, and supports four basic file formats (WAV, MP3, WMA, and OGG.) If you're considering digitizing your LP or cassette collection, the program can split or join files easily. For Internet radio fans, Focus MP3 Recorder can schedule recording times to catch your favorite show. This demo version only allows 60 seconds of recording time per run, which in our opinion isn't enough to really get any use out of this feature. However, the CD-burning utility and the player (with its 12-band EQ) help to compensate for this less-than-desirable roadblock. Though users seeking a dedicated recording program have less-restrictive options at their disposal, those who value versatility might take a look-see.Publisher's description
From Focussoft :Focus MP3 Recorder Pro is an all-in-one recording studio with audio recording, burning, editing, converting, splitting and joining features. You can record audio from microphone, Internet streaming audio, or music played by Winamp, Windows Media Player, QuickTime, RealPlayer, Flash, and games. Focus MP3 Recorder Pro can edit audio files as you desire by cutting, copying, pasting, and trimming, and with various DSP effects, unlimited undo and redo functionality will be of great help to your work. The hotkey and schedule settings make it easy to handle automatic starting and stopping of recording. With the splitter and joiner, you will be able to split audio files into smaller segments and join the necessary parts to get a new file. With the burner, you can burn your own audio CD that can be played back on your PC or CD player. You can use the new added voice-activation function to skip silent passages or to stop the recording after a certain amount of silence. Version 3.4.0.6 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"No product is good if it isn't delivered!"
Pros: It sounds like a good product.
Cons: Purchased product about 6 hours ago and still waiting for registration to be e-mailed.
