Publisher's Description
From Hermetic Systems:
This is software for exploring five cellular automata, as follows: A multistate version of Conway's Game of Life, called "q-state Life"; A simulation of the Belousov-Zhabotinsky chemical reaction in which, beginning from a random state of the system, spirals and curlicues "spontaneously" emerge; A process called Togetherness in which cells with random states move so as to maximize the number of neighbors of each cell in the same state as that cell; Viral Replication, a simulation of a population of dividing cells subject to viral infection; Diffusion-Limited Aggregation, illustrating a process in which particles diffuse (moving randomly) and aggregate to form a fractal structure. The documentation provides a complete description of the algorithms used.

"Animations are poor, but the concept is pretty neat"
Version: Five Cellular Automata 6.12d
Pros
has a real time graph simulation to demonstrate the logistic growth of bacteria, etc.
Cons
animations of "togetherness", etc. are poor and grainy - the general performance is all right but it could be better
-
"cool info, very intersting"
Version: Five Cellular Automata 5.69d
Pros
like the idea
