Display an image of the pages returned in Yahoo searches with this easy to use plug-in for the Firefox Search Bar. Firefox Okapiland Plugin lacks an interface, but instead becomes another option in the Firefox search box. Some testers reported this plug-in failed to properly install in their version of Firefox.
Using this application is very simple. Merely enter a search term in your Firefox search box and choose the Okapiland option. Your search results then display links, short descriptions, and a small version of the Web page. You can easily open the page by clicking the link. Oddly, the page image isn't linked.
Users with fast connections will see the pages load quickly, but others may be overwhelmed by the need to effectively load six sites with the page image for every result. Nevertheless, those who like the idea of seeing sites in search results will like this freeware plug-in.
Firefox Okapiland Plug-in is a Firefox search plug-in to provide Yahoo search in Composite Page Mode (YahooCPM) that displays linked pages themselves in addition to hyperlinks. All pages can be displayed by scrolling the pages. Internet Search is good for the quick search or clear search, but the deep search or ambiguous search requires your effort. The CPM can save your operation. The plug-in is added as one of search plug-ins in FireFox Search Bar.
