It may be the scaled-down version, but Feed Editor Lite's straightforward interface offers just the right amount of options for creating and managing RSS feeds and podcasts.
The program's wizard to create a new RSS feed gets you off to the right start. The wizard was easy to understand, but also included a help feature to keep you covered. The wizard gives you two options for creating feeds--standard RSS or standard podcast. After that, simply enter a name, brief description, and the source URL in the appropriate field. Once we got all of that information into place, we were taken to the main user interface, which we found to be very intuitive. Command buttons and menu options for creating, saving, and uploading new feeds reside at the top of the window. Below that are tabs for displaying feeds, feed items, and feed images. The feed that we had created using the wizard appeared under the Feeds tab, and we were able to add more detailed information, such as Webmaster, editor, and copyright. Once we were ready to upload our feed, the built-in FTP made it a cinch to upload the feed and its corresponding information.
Feed Editor Lite made what seemed like a daunting task incredibly easy. The 30-day trial is plenty of time to get acquainted with the program, making it perfect for users new to RSS feed creation.

Version: Feed Editor Lite 2.8
"great program, shameful, nonexistent customer support"
Pros: FEL 2.8 is fast, light and easy to learn, It's made keeping up with my feeds a dream.
Cons: The only thing that is a terrible problem is the utter lack of any kind of customer support.
Summary: The bottom line for me is that I love this product but in two weeks when my trial period - for a product I've already purchased - runs out, I will have to find another to replace it with. This really is a shame as, from so many of the comments I've ... read more >>

Version: Feed Editor Lite 2.8
Pros: Had problem with this version so I tried the fee based version when I got no response from support. Still no support provided.
Cons: A number of support inquiries went unanswered product is free so I understood and tried fee based version, all support inquiries were still ignored.
Summary: Lacks any type of support.
