Family Cyber Alert takes the uncertainty out of the question, "What's my kid been doing online?" This app does far more than record every keystroke made, and it does it well.
Including the keystroke log, the program offers a full array of monitoring functions. All applications are under Family Cyber Alert's watchful eye, including separate logs for sent e-mails, chat participation, and Web sites visited. It also takes screencaps regularly, forwards you copies of any e-mails sent, and incorporates blocking software to block programs as well as specific Web sites. There's even a customizable automatic keyword "danger" alert and a networking feature to monitor remote machines. All this control isn't arbitrary, though; it allows the Administrator to set specific users outside of its purview and observe the rest.
Family Cyber Alert doesn't show up in the start menu or control panel, so uninstalling the program must be done from the command line. However, to do so you must close it, and that requires the password, so the app is virtually tamperproof. If you need to keep a watchful eye over how your computer gets used, whether for a child or an employee, Family Cyber Alert tells you all.

Version: Family Cyber Alert 4.04
Pros: The program does what it says.
Cons: You get double keystroles.
Supoort is non-exsistent. Contacted them 3 times on the double keystrokes and no reply.
The program also is hard to log into the security password activation. When you press the control keys you have to cancel several times and try again. Becomes annoying.

"Great program and excellent support"
Pros: I have been using this program for 2 months and it has been working great as advertised. I love it! Yesterday, I got a new computer and need to transfer it to the new computer. I contacted the support and got a new license for free today! I strongly recommend this 5-star tool!

"Well designed and easy to use"
Pros: This software is very easy to use. I have a 14 year old who is expanding his internet wings. This software allows me to monitor his activity in an non intrusive manner. The software allows you to view keystrokes, chat conversations, websites visited and files accessed, just to name a few. It has plenty of other features such as website blocker. The site also has a well thought out and detailed FAQ section, but I did not need to use it. It loaded smoothly and installed easily. An excellent product overall.

Pros: I love this product! This is the first software program I downloaded from download.com. It is so easy to install and use it. It helps me keep track of what my children are doing online. I do not have to stand over them which always made them mad. I have come to realize that safeguarding my kids? online rest solely with me. Every parent needs a product like this one.

Pros: Works well. Help me find out a lot of things I was not aware of. You will be surprised by what this tool can do for you. Very easy to use. It hides itself in the background and does its job. I give it a 5 star rating.
