From FairStars Soft :FairStars CD Ripper rips audio CD tracks to WMA, MP3, OGG, VQF, FLAC, APE, and WAV formats on the fly. Free CDDB is supported (querying and submitting). The program supports normalization when ripping as well as ID3 tag. It also supports playback with its built-in player. Version 1.10 corrects some errors(ID3 Tag cannot be saved, CD/DVD-Driver cannot be found sometimes, proxy port cannot be saved and others), and adds skin support, also adds the option of Local NT SCSI Library support. Version: FairStars CD Ripper 1.10
"It's the best one i've ever tried"
Pros: I went on a limb on trying the free cd ripper and i glad i did because when you rip a cd with it the sound quality is great plus i've had no problems with it.
Cons: None.

"Good software, nice encoding options, easy to use and free..."
Pros: You can set a lot of the ID3 tags when ripping. When succesfull, all the songs were ok (no glitches). It's very easy to use this software. And yes, it's really free.
Cons: Some crash now and then. But easy recovery by closing the application and starting it again. When ripping a CD, you can not only do one song, you have the do all the songs. It is not the fastest ripper in town, but it does the job!
