From FairStars Soft :FairStars CD Ripper rips audio CD tracks to WMA, MP3, OGG, VQF, FLAC, APE, and WAV formats on the fly. Free CDDB is supported (querying and submitting). The program supports normalization when ripping as well as ID3 tag. It also supports playback with its built-in player.
Version 1.02 corrects an error with finding CD/DVD devices and a skin error in Windows XP.

Pros: Works like a dream. I've ripped dozens of mp3s in the few hours I've had it. It's fast and easy to use.

"Great ripper for advanced users"
Pros: Fast ripper, pretty easy to use for people who know a lot about mp3's.
Cons: The only help is on the main menu, not the sub-dialogs where help may be needed.

"Excellent Program. User Friendly. Reliable."
Pros: The ease of use of this product is incredible. It is easy to use, and the help file was helpful when I didn't know what to do when I first downloaded it.

Pros: Good interface and options with settings from the main screen, including auto or user titling and destination folder options. You can easily recover from a glitch with a program restart ... it has not blown up Win XP and runs at a nice pace. Nice for the price ($0). So far, no audible errors in successful rips.
Cons: Does not recover well from errors, especially if YOU do something out of sequence. It also has a tendency to glitch during a full CD rip ... about 1/2 the time, but am prepared to believe a poor OEM CD ROM contributes to this. Recovering is not a pain but recheck all settings before continuing; files might wind up in an unexpected place.
