Version: FaceGen Modeller 3.1.4
Pros: you're downloading a demo, not the full program, unlike some people believe.
this program wasn't designed to kill time, it was designed to create realistic faces based on parameters and photographs. considering that doing the things it does, such as automatic morph target generation, photographic image modeling, and autmatic surface coordinates, takes weeks to do by hand, usually with a very sizeable team of professionals, this program is a godsend. combine it with Facegen customizer, and you have a program that does a huge amount of work for you in a tiny fraction of the time you would normally have to do it. yes, for someone who just wants to fiddle with faces, $500 is expensive. but for a studio doing a large volume of character heads in a short time, the price, even times artist licenses, is pocket change compared to the time and money you can save.
Cons: if you want to stick a 3d model of yourself on your myspace account, this isn't the program for you...
the Facegen customizer add-on adds more complexity, and isn't infallible for pre-designed meshes.

Version: FaceGen Modeller 3.1.4
"Easy, tremendous design but expensive."
Pros: Facegen is a great program that allows you to create fantastic 3d faces to use as an avatar or on your website. You simply edit all there is to edit about a human face, eyebrowls, cheek bones, lips, ears, eyes... you get the point. And the best thing, learning it won't take more than about 4-5 minutes tops.
Cons: The program is all though very expensive, close to 500 $ and one of the things that annoy me is the lack of hairstyles (you've got three with the demo and pay version). All though you can buy additional ones for more money. This annoy me, but since I use this program a lot I created some additional ones in Photoshop my self, but for the not so experienced creator, this might ba factor to not use this programm.

Version: FaceGen Modeller 3.1.4
Pros: This program is extremely intelligent. The first time you use it you'll be blown away by your 3D face. Some of the things you can do to your face make it a good laugh when friends or family come round.
Cons: System hog, dont even think about opening another program whilst this is processing a
photo.
Unless you're a graphic designer or something similar, once the novelty wears off you'll be getting rid.
And that price tag WOAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Version: FaceGen Modeller 3.1.4
"Free..NOT... $495.00 for the rights.Great program BAD Pricing"
Pros: The program is actually very cool for playing with for awhile. Without purchasing their product, no projects can be saved, transfered or stored on your computer. Just a way to waste some time, if you have it to spare.
Cons: $495.00 So very cool 'a' tool, To bad it's so overpriced. I was going to purchase it, I figured $19.95 would be reasonable. I would even be willing to pay a little bit more for it. Definately should not be offered as FREE . Free to Try is more accurate.
