FLV Player is a free standalone application to play Flash FLV files with. This utility can come in handy when viewing many FLV files, as it doesn't require the Flash IDE. The installer comes with optional FLV association, so double clicking an FLV file opens and plays the file in the player.

"As simple as drag and drop"

Pros
Small window in which you just drag and drop to use it. The initial screen lists you the different options of how you can play FLV videos, I just think drag and drop is the easiest.
It's FREE, no hassle with product codes or special keys, nothing.Cons
The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars, was that I could resize the video to ANY size I wanted, the software does have a .5x 1x and 2x resizing options, but for testing purposes I wanted a different video size.
Summary
Bottom line: just perfect to play FLV files.

With the advent of various tools allowing users to download videos, this product delivers exactly many users need to view their .flv videos
Cons
The software seems rather large for a program which is only able to play one type of file. It seems advisable to download VLC Media Player, which although larger can play many different file types and has many of the same options available with the FLV Player
