FLV Player is a free standalone application to play Flash FLV files with. This utility can come in handy when viewing many FLV files, as it doesn't require the Flash IDE. The installer comes with optional FLV association, so double clicking an FLV file opens and plays the file in the player. The installer includes optional downloads for FLV recording and conversion software by Applian.
Version 2 supports fullscreen mode, extensive meta-data inspection, multiple file drop, zoom.

When it works it seems like a good program.The key here is when it works.
Cons
Hangs up. Can't close from full screen. Ctrl/Alt/Del doesn't even recognize that the program is running.

Nice idea with a good interface.
Cons
Playback quality is a bit shabby, and the program is extremely unstable under WinXP SP2, tried on several systems with similar results, problems include:
1) Gets stuck in full screen mode and has to be forcibly closed.
2) When resizing window the mouse pointer stays connected tothe window and will not release it.
3) Playback can be very patchy.
