From Martijn de Visser Software :FLV Player is a standalone application to play Flash FLV files with. This utility can come in handy when viewing many FLV files, as it doesn't require the Flash IDE. The installer comes with optional FLV association, so double clicking an FLV file opens and plays the file in the player. The installer includes optional downloads for FLV recording and conversion software by Applian.

"FLV good for ripped off youtube"
Pros: Can watch any rpped videos off youtube and google video, free, fast to dwonload, small size (not a memory muncher).
Cons: Screen size and quality not the best so download a flv to wmv converter!

Pros: Works with playing stuff from myspace.com! Some of the others I haven't tried playing, the videodownloader firefox extension doesn't work with youtube I've noticed.

Pros: works very nice and as expected .. GOM player is also very nice and has a few things this player dosen't though.. I still use and like FLV allot though
