From Martijn de Visser Software :FLV Player is a standalone application to play Flash .flv files with. This utility can come in handy when viewing many FLV files, as it doens't require the Flash IDE. The installer comes with optional .flv association, so double clicking an .flv file opens and plays the file in the player.

Version: FLV Player 1.3.2
"Does exactly what it says. Much better than another product I had previously."
Pros: It just works. I had another flv player but it only played some flv files. Heaps of them (gleamed from my Temporary Internet Files folder) just wouldn't play in it. But this program has worked for every file I've tried. It's really good!
Cons: Haven't found anything wrong yet. Well, it didn't automatically associate itself with .flv files, so I had to do that. But the first time I double clicked an .flv XP helped me do it really easily - so no hassle.

Pros: I like the interface of this program, it's very easy to use and overall, it's free ;-), I just Love it!
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Is a small, very basic player for .flv files.
Cons: The zoom functions don't work which is a problem for small clips.
Trying to use the forward, backward buttons results in freezing of the program, and there's no other way to move back or forward in the video.
Absolutely no customization.
