Publisher's description
From Image Line Software :FL Studio, formerly known as FruityLoops, is a software synthesizer and sequencer that allows you to create drum and other audio loops. This program is easy enough for beginners to learn, but under the hood you'll find tools meant for serious musicians. FL Studio utilizes MIDI and DirectSound (internal mixing), 16-bit 44KHz stereo output, and 32-bit floating-point internal mixing.
You'll also get support for VST plug-ins, as well as individual panning, volume, pitch, mix, resonance, and cutoff on each note; digital effects, such as stretching, fading, and reverb; and master/slave MIDI-synchronization capabilities. Verison 6.0.8 has added new features and additional instruments like DirectWave, EQUO.

Version: FL Studio 6.0.8
Pros: It seems as if every kid owns a bootleg copy of FL Studio. It has become so common that people feel FL Studio is just a toy. However, this software is far from being a toy. It is a professional and complex tool for audio production. This software will take a very long time to master. I personally use it as my main drum machine and prefer it over my AKAI MPC. You can perform miracles with this software. It's worth every penny.
Cons: The library that FL Studio comes with isn't enough. You really need to expand it to get some real use out of FL Studio. This software is quite difficult to master as well.

Version: FL Studio 6.0.8
Pros: I've been using FL Studio the for the last two years, and I can honestly say that this is the computer program of the decade. The interface is user friendly compared to similar programs, and the idea behind that program that I most like is that you can basically automate any slider, knob, switch etc. This program is a must have for any budding musician.
Cons: One thing I don't like about the program is...nothing...this program is better than the invention of sliced bread!

Version: FL Studio 6.0.8
"Extremely simple, self explanitory, not cluttered."
Pros: This is all I use to create loops. This does whatever I need it to. From drum loops to synth melodies this does it all! I downloaded the demo, and I could just jump right into it and start creating. This program is very nice and neat, and does not devour memory either. AMAZING!
