Effectively review most PC activity with this simple monitoring tool, although it handles Internet Explorer activity more accurately than that of Firefox. Eye Spy Pro's simple button and checkbox interface shouldn't take most users more than a few moments to master. On first run, the app guides users through basic program configuration and operation.

Eye Spy Pro captures and saves all key strokes, programs started, and Web sites visited. There was a glitch with the app, which failed to correctly save Web sites visited using Firefox. It lists them, but under programs started instead. Web sites visited using Internet Explorer are accurately logged, though. The Keystrokes log lists each window change and the keystrokes entered there. It does not track mouse movement. The Programs Used log simply lists the title of each program that displays an interface. Turned off by default, screenshots are easily enabled with just a checkbox click in the options dialog. It takes a few moments and some simple settings to set Eye Spy Pro to e-mail logs.

There's a 10-day trial limitation, but any user who needs to monitor his or her system should give this app a test. It isn't the most feature-laden system spy we've found, but it's one of the easiest to use.
