Publisher's Description
From Qualcomm:
The Eudora Internet Suite includes three different components: Eudora for the Palm, an email client; the EudoraWeb Browser; and the Eudora Mail Conduit. With Eudora for the Palm, you can send and receive email directly from your Palm device. Eudora supports POP3 and SMTP, or HotSync, for sending and receiving email. You can visit any Web site directly from your Palm device, without any additional servers required. EudoraWeb is an HTML Web browser that offers online browsing to standard Web pages without requiring a proxy server. The Eudora Mail Conduit allows you to HotSync email between your Palm device and Windows desktop email clients. The Eudora Mail Conduit works with the Windows desktop version of Eudora 4.3.2 or higher, as long as the desktop Eudora client is operating in Paid or Sponsored mode.
New features in Version 2.1: Eudora and EudoraWeb support SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and TLS (Transport Layer Security) for server authentication and data privacy. Synchronization of web browser bookmarks (favorites) between your desktop browser and the EudoraWeb browser on your Palm device, via the new EudoraWeb conduit application.

"Free for a reason: Limited abilities"
Version: Eudora Internet Suite 2.1
Pros
I have the treo 650 and have demo-ed numerous email applications. This one is nice because it's free and has filtering capabilities that others don't. It also has a nice display of messages making them clear to read.
Cons
This product lacks the ability to view attachments. (It tells you there is an attachment, but won't work with other apps to open the attachments.) Also, it doesn't have hyperlinking of phone numbers in incoming emails. Some email products, e.g., snapper, allow you to tap on phone numbers in incoming messages and the phone will dial the number. I also had the "blank screen" problem on incoming email: no mail or columns displayed until I tapped the screen. What's that all about?
I'll keep the product on my treo as a backup, but I'll probably invest $20 to get an email app that opens attachments and dials embedded numbers.

"Perfect Solution for my Palm M100"
Version: Eudora Internet Suite 2.1
Pros
I have a new Palm M100, circa 2000, which has no built in email sync capability with Outlook Express 6, as well as, no email program at all on the Palm itself (to save money). The Eudora Mail Conduit, the only part of the Eudora Internet Suite 2.1 I has to install, allows me to sync the Palm M100 to Outlook Express 6 whenever I hot sync from the cradle. I can also compose, then email from the Eudora software on the Palm, with the Palm hot sync, through OE6, just as I would from OE6 itself. Just re-instates email functionality on the Palm M100 perfectly.
Cons
None

"A good but unevolved "must have" for palms"
Version: Eudora Internet Suite 2.1
Pros
A proud heir of the Eudora family, nice and simple looking and easy to use. One of the best I have erver used.
Cons
Since I installed it, it keep locking up Hotsync until I manually end the task, probably due to the fact that I'm using a PEG-TG50 Clie. Any way there is no support for this software since it died while PALM OS 3 was the latest version. A real shame, maybe further development and some bugs correction may have made of this a great software.

"A must have internet client for Palms and Sony Clies!"
Version: Eudora Internet Suite 2.1
Summary
I own PalmIIIxe and Sony Clie SJ-22 and this program is just perfect! Small, compact and fast, and the best of all it's free! I recommend it to everyone! The browser doesn't support images, but that doesn't mean it's bad! It's just great! Thanks to the authors for creating such a good program!

"Can't beat the price :-)"
Version: Eudora Internet Suite 2.1
Summary
After getting a Treo 600 through Verizon, I realized it didn't come with a mail client. Friends had service through Sprint which came pre-bundled with snapper mail. After installing and using this for a couple of months now, all of my friends using snappermail from Sprint have switched to Eudora. This is an excellent application, and its free to boot. Only weirdness with it is that after downloading mail, your inbox screen is blank. But if click on the screen it reappears. Strange but not bothersome. I highly recommend.
This also deals nicely with different login names between smtp and pop3 if you run into that problem -
"Overall good program"
Version: Eudora Internet Suite 2.1
Summary
A decent program, I like that I can sync my desktop Eudora mail with my handheld. Some issues with caps on Treo 180, but otherwise, I've been using it for a couple years.
