Emila is an indexing and search tool for your email. It creates a master database of your existing email, and lets you perform various kinds of searching and filtering on that database.

What's new in this version:

  • This is the first version that's actually kind of useful.
  • Lots and lots of under-the-hood changes. Now uses SQLite for storage, instead of a huge property list. This enables us to do much faster and more complex searches.
  • Added find sheet and find panel
  • Added address book. Emila now refers to people by their real name whenever possible, and their email address if not.
  • Implemented "Recipients" metadata section
  • Added Rebuild Index button
  • Added URL highlighting in... See all new features
