From 7tec.com :The award winning Elgr sits between the e-mail reader and the internet, checking e-mail as it is received. Spam is automatically moved to the deleted items folder. Elgr uses several powerful methods to trap spam: detects attempts to fool anti-spam programs, checks all links in the mail against a daily updated list of over 66000 domains used by spammers, checks the content of the mail for bad words, those who don't communicate in English can delete all English mail. Elgr is effective and very easy to use. Because spam is a moving target, which requires program changes, an automatic update mechanism is included. Works with Outlook Express and Outlook.
Version 2.33 generates fewer false positives and features a far more efficient update mechanism to keep spam detection rate high.

Cons: This blocked some legitimate email. It adds a silly ELGR tag to the subject line that you have to remove when replying. It does not seem capable of learning what is spam - it only blocks using the built-in database, and the free trial runs out after 30 days according to the website August 2006.

"No Nonsence! Quiet and The Easiest to Implement"
Pros: Once you install the program there isn't anything else to do. BUT, if you want to tinker there are some very easy ways to do it. Simple! The way every program should be.
Cons: The only conplaint is it doesn't tell you what next, just loads and nothing else.
