Effect Essentials includes the following 10 effects:

• Super RGB Curves
  An RGB Curves plug-in that allows you to zoom in on the curve, enter exact values, and has several other improvements over the standard curves tool.
• HSV Curves
  Provides the same interface as the Super RGB Curves plug-in, but allows you to manipulate your video in Hue, Saturation, and Value color space instead of RGB color space. This allows precise control, such as turning a single color to grayscale, or changing one color to another without affecting the rest of the video.
• Frame Manipulator
  Allows you to make one aspect of your video (such as the volume of the soundtrack, or the brightness of the frame) to control another aspect of your video (such as the scale, hue, or blur).
• Pixel Manipulator
  Allows you to make one aspect of each pixel in the image (such as location or hue) affect another aspect of the pixel (such as redness or brightness).
• Digital Interference
  Simulates the type of corruption experienced by bad digital connections, such as streaming over a low bandwidth connection, or satellite interference.
• Feedback
  Simulates a video feedback loop, similar to what happens when a video camera is pointed at the monitor displaying its output.
• Camera Flash
  Creates a flash-bulb style effect. This effect is fully functional, and totally FREE!
• Edge Manipulator
  Allows you to apply effects only to the edges of objects in a scene. You can blur, sharpen, or even trace the edges of object without affecting other parts of your clip.
• Radial Glow
  Makes radiating light streaks and halo effects.
• HSV Manipulator
  Allows you to apply an effect, such as a blur or median, only to certain colors in the image, allowing you to clean up skin tones or chroma keys.

All of the effects are AltiVec (Velocity Engine) enhanced for maximum speed on the latest hardware and work in both 8-bit and 16-bit per channel video.
