From ES-Computing :EditPlus is an Internet-ready 32-bit Text editor, HTML editor and Programmer's editor for Windows. While it can serve as a good replacement for Notepad, it also offers many powerful features for Web page authors and programmers. Syntax highlighting for HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, Perl, C/C++, Java, JavaScript and VBScript. Seamless Web browser for previewing HTML pages, and FTP commands for uploading local files to FTP server. Version 2.21 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: EditPlus 2.21
Pros: Small memory footprint, lightning fast.
Syntax highlighting works great and you can make your own syntax file.
The auto-complete feature is so great that i'm now addicted to it.
If you want full control over the code you write, get EditPlus. It's fantastic!
Cons: Nothing so far (six years of daily usage).

Pros: It supports a lot of file types so you donĂ¢Â?Â?t need anything else to do the job.

"A lightweight tool that supports all file types and very easy to work with."
Pros: A tool that supports all file types, doesnt take too much memory space, looks decent and works well. I only work in EditPlus.
